Help Fight Cancer With VeloSano

In 2015, an estimated 1,658,370 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States and 589,430 people will die from the disease.

The most common forms of cancer in 2015 are projected to be breast cancer, lung and bronchus cancer, prostate cancer, colon and rectum cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma of the skin, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, thyroid cancer, kidney and renal pelvis cancer, endometrial cancer, leukemia, and pancreatic cancer.

Approximately 39.6 percent of men and women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point during their lifetimes.

With these statistics, it is without question that someone you know (or perhaps you personally) has been affected by cancer.

It's time to do something about it. You have the opportunity to make a difference in the fight against cancer by donating to my VeloSano bike ride. 100% of your gift will go directly to cancer research at Cleveland Clinic.

The Cleveland Clinic delivers compassionate, state-of-the-art clinical care, focusing on improving clinical outcomes for patients – and the only way to accomplish that is through continued research.

There has been great strides made in the way Cleveland Clinic prevents, screens, diagnoses and treats cancer – but they're not done yet. And you can help.

I am going to be riding 100 miles in VeloSano on July 18 and I need your help to raise money for the cause. Any amount, big or small, from $5 to $25 to $100 to even more would be so much appreciated!
